My partner and I found this kitty outside of our apartment building two days ago. She was terrified of people, but we managed to befriend her with some treats and she let us take her inside. We asked around and she does not belong to anyone that we know of, so we think she’s a stray that’s been fed by people.
She’s not in the best shape unfortunately. :/ My partner thinks she has some form of mange, her breathing is really heavy, possibly meaning she’s got a respiratory infection and she’s also got what appears to be an ear infection. She’s eating ok but hasn’t gone to the bathroom yet.
We would normally never ask for money from anyone, but we’re tight on money right now ourselves and we just can’t afford to take her to the vet without some help. We don’t want to take her to the shelter, either, because they are not a no-kill shelter.
